Terms of Service

1. The service
foneg is a subscription web application that gives you access to a collection of tools that run in your web browser. By creating an account or using the service you agree to these terms.
2. Your account
You need an account to use the tools. Keep access to your Google account secure, because it is how you sign in. You are responsible for what happens under your account. On a Team plan, the person who pays is the team owner and manages billing.
3. Plans, trials and payment
Plans are billed in advance each month at the price shown on the pricing page. Payments are processed by Polar, our merchant of record, which also handles taxes, receipts and invoices. A trial gives full access for the stated number of days; if you do not cancel before it ends, your plan starts and is charged. We may change prices, and will tell existing customers by email at least 30 days before a change applies to them.
4. Cancellation and refunds
You can cancel at any time from your account page. You keep access until the end of the period you already paid for, and you will not be charged again. If something went wrong with a payment, email support@foneg.com and we will work it out with you. Refunds are issued through Polar.
5. Your files
Your files are processed on your own device and are not uploaded to us. You keep all rights to your files and to what you create with the tools. Because the processing happens on your device, keep your own copies of anything important.
6. Acceptable use
Do not use foneg to break the law or infringe anyone's rights, do not try to get around the subscription or share one account beyond your plan's seats, and do not attempt to disrupt, copy or resell the service.
7. Tool requests
We read every tool request, but we decide what to build and when. A tool built from a request becomes part of the service for all customers.
8. No warranty
We work hard to make every tool correct and reliable, but the service is provided "as is". Check important results, such as calculations, converted documents and legal or financial figures, before relying on them.
9. Liability
To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for loss of data stored on your own device.
10. Ending the service
You can stop using foneg and delete your account at any time. We may suspend accounts that break these terms. If we ever shut the service down, we will give at least 30 days' notice and refund any unused prepaid period.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We will change the date above and, for significant changes, email account holders before they take effect.
